Final Side Hustle News Article.

When I started The Side Hustle News, the goal was simple: find interesting side hustle ideas, break them down in plain English, and help regular people see what might actually be worth trying.

Some ideas had potential. Some looked better on paper than in real life. And some were probably best left as “fun to think about” business ideas.

That was part of the fun.

But after a lot of thinking, I’ve decided to officially shut The Side Hustle News down.

Not because I don’t still like side hustles. I do.

But because I’ve realized I want to put my time and energy into something I’m more excited about building long term — something that feels more fun, more fresh, and honestly… something I’d enjoy reading myself every week.

That project is called Detour Canada with Detour America to come later this year.

It’s a new travel newsletter focused on fun Canadian getaways, road trips, weekend escapes, unexpected places, and trip ideas that make you think, “Yep… I’d go there.”

So instead of side hustles, I’m heading in a new direction:
less “How to make extra money selling stuff from your garage,”
more “Here’s a cool place in Canada you’ll want to check out.”

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, I’d love to have you join me there.

To subscribe to Detour Canada, just email me at:

and I’ll add you to the list.

No form. No link. Just a simple email.

And if travel across Canada sounds a lot more fun than another article about flipping junk for profit… you may like this next chapter even better.

To everyone who subscribed, opened an issue, replied, or followed along with The Side Hustle News:

Thank you.

I appreciate you being here, and I hope you’ll come along for the next ride.

Ron
